Dr. Narae Ko received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle followed by a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Duke Eye Center. She was an Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology at Tufts University of School of Medicine prior to joining Putnoi Eye Care.
Dr. Ko specializes in femtosecond laser cataract surgery, premium intraocular lenses, and laser vision correction including LASIK and PRK to eliminate the need for glasses for our patients. Her expertise also includes medical and surgical management of cornea and the ocular surface with a special interest in cornea transplants.
Dr. Ko is board-certified in ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New England Ophthalmological Society. She is on staff at Surgisite Boston, Tufts Medical Center, Massachusetts Eye and Ear, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
